About MEDIJOURNAL Daily
Independent health journalism for people who want the evidence without the jargon.
MEDIJOURNAL Daily is a small, independent health publication for a general audience: body, mind, nutrition, skin, healthy aging and the products people actually buy. We write for readers who don't have time to read the studies but are tired of half-knowledge.
Who writes here
Carolyn Mercer is our Senior Health Editor. She has covered health for fifteen years, first at a regional daily, then online, and is a certified nutrition coach. She is not a physician and does not pretend to be one. Where an article touches diagnosis or medication, it says so and points you to a clinician.
How we work
- Every article names its sources. Where a claim rests on one small study, we say that it rests on one small study.
- We name products and prices because readers ask. Naming is not an endorsement, and a product is never named because someone paid for it.
- We correct mistakes in the article they occurred in, with a note at the bottom. See the editorial policy.
How we make money
Some links to products are affiliate links or lead to shops that pay us a commission when you buy. That never changes what we recommend, but you should know it exists. Pages that carry sponsored or affiliate content say so at the top. We run no third-party display advertising.
Our own brand. Our publisher also owns the skincare brand Feel1 (getfeel1.com). When a Feel1 product appears in an article, it is labeled “our publisher’s brand” right next to the price, it sits among competitors at their real prices, and it gets the same plus-and-caveat treatment as every other product. Product lists on this site are never rankings.
